Having had a successful career in graphic design, Kate returned to her passion for painting. Her oil and acrylic paintings are based on observations from life and nature using her photographs for additional reference. Kate Gurganus graduated from Rowan University in New Jersey with a BA degree in graphic design and illustration.
 

Currently, she is the administrative coordinator for the Walker County Arts Alliance. Kate enjoys encouraging others to express themselves through the arts.
